This week I used my Giant Cupcake Siliocone Mold for the first time. I was very excited to use it. So for Human Rights Month I made a mud-house giant cupcake.
Equipment:
- Giant Cupcake
- Buttercream Icing
- Brown modelling chocolate
- Assortment of sweets.
- Black fondant.
- Rolling pin
- Glass Cutting Board
- Spray and Cook
- Cake board.
- Fork
- Palette Knife
Step 1: Bake a giant cupcake. As this is my first time making one it didn't come out perfectly.
Step 2: Crumb coat the bottom half.
Step 3: Take some modelling chocolate. This is my first time making modelling chocolate and it turned out well.
Step 4: Turn the bottom of the cake upside down and cover it with the modelling chocolate. I won't show you how I did it because it wasn't very good. I still need to learn a bit more.
Step 5: Add the sweets to the cake to make it look pretty.
Step 6: Spread some green buttercream icing on the cake board around the cake and with a knife lift it up to create grass. PS: This was Lynn's idea.
Step 7: Use caramel chips to make a path to the house in the grass.
Step 8: Roll out some black fondant for the door.
Step 9: Cut out a door shape.
Step 10: Use some water and stick the door to the house.
Step 11: Serve and watch as your guests enjoy.
