Method:
- Preheat the oven to 180 Degrees Celsius/ 350 Degrees Fahrenheit.
- Beat the margarine/ butter and the sugar together but don't cream it.
- Add the eggs one at a time beating well after each egg.
- Then add the vanilla essence to the mixture.
- In a separate bowl sift the flour, baking powder and salt.
- Gradually add the flour mixture to the egg mixture. You might need to use your hands for this part.
- Cut out into shapes or roll them into balls, put on a greased baking tray and bake in the oven for 10 minutes.
- Serve immediately or store in an airtight container.
